Test Valley Scholars Celebrate Record-Breaking GCSE Examination Results

Pupils and staff at Test Valley School are celebrating another year of stellar academic success following the publication of GCSE results today. Over 45% of grades awarded were at Grade 7, 8, or 9 (equivalent to A* and A under the traditional system), reflecting the immense dedication of scholars and faculty alike.

Special congratulations are extended to Year 11 student Marcus Thorne, who achieved a clean sweep of ten Grade 9s, and Eleanor Davies, who scored eight Grade 9s and two Grade 8s. Both students have secured academic scholarships for sixth form entry at Peter Symonds College and Winchester College.

Headteacher Emma Pattison commented: 'These outcomes are a testament to the rigorous intellectual culture we foster here at Roman Way. Our young people have demonstrated resilience, ambition, and academic excellence of the highest order.'
